In Frades, parish of Ruivães, there are a bridge and a waterfall which break the silence of the nature. The bridge reaches more than 15m over the Rabagão river. According to the legend, this was built by the devil. That why, neighbouring population speculated about its origin and give it the nicknamed of the Devil's Bridge. The bridge is also known as the location of the battle during the French Invasion, between the French and the British armies. To visit this monument, visitors need to leave the car in Frades, or in the vicinity of the bridge then go the rest of the way on foot.
