The 16th century pillory is situated in the middle of a small square, where we also find the chapel of S. Francisco.
In the 1440s, this monument lay in the middle of a water tank and next to its column it had a small stone decorative element that served as a water spout. This is how it remained for many years until we don’t know when.
The pillory is set on two square steps. The squared base of the column is also fixed to the steps, but at a higher level, and at its top there is a small frame. This is the basis of the square-shaped column with sharp edges, giving it the shape of an octagon.
The capital is formed by a square prism with small columns on the corners. A pyramidal structure lies on this capital, with a coat of arms and a figure-head on one of the sides.
