The Pedregal Belvedere, also known as Alto da Escrita Belvedere, is situated on the hills overlooking Tabuaço, built on a cliff near municipal road 515-1 leading to Vale Figueira.
It is an imperative stopping place formed by a dirt square surrounded by native trees from where you can enjoy the magnificent view over the village of Tabuaço, the North, the vineyard covered mountain, and the River Douro, which we cannot see but imagine it’s just beyond the Tabuaço slopes.
This belvedere is situated at an altitude of about 769 metres above sea level.
