The Parque Urbano Dr. Mário Fonseca (Dr. Mário Fonseca Urban Park) is located in Amílcar neto Avenue, next to the municipal swimming pools, in the center of Lousada.
The first phase of the Park is established where the football field of the Associação Desportiva de Lousada used to be. The total area of the park is around four hectares and it is divided in two levels equivalent to the first and second phase.
The Café/Restaurant with an outside area, the Environmental Activities Center and the children`s and geriatric equipment are located in the first level which has an area of 2.5 hectares.
The second level is a large space with an amphitheater and an open air public stage for cultural, artistic and musical activities.
