The river Tamega Park, opened on December 3, 2008, consists of four poles of attraction.
The first consists of a Fluvina with capacity for 40 boats and one support building works where the Nautical Club of Marco de Canaveses and a restaurant with a great view over the river;The second, used a natural platform on the river creating walkways to sports fishing. This area is served by a removable support facility where a terrace bar works;
The third, in one of the upper decks, is an area consisting of picnic and playground;
The room on the left bank of the Tâmega next to S. Nicolau Church, consists of a living area and outdoor contemplation, two floating platforms for berthing of vessels and for sports fishing. One of these platforms allows for cultural events. In future, there will arise a terrace bar.
Next to this, along the river park there is a path for walking and maintenance, highly sought for physical exercise.
