Located in the village of Lavandeira, the “Núcleo Museológico do Azeite” (Olive Oil Center) of the “Museu da Memória Rural” (Museum of Rural Memory) demonstrates how the olive oil was produced in a traditional central screw press . The whole process is pictured here in a museum perspective, supported on graphic boards and video with images of ethnographic and old photographic documentation.
