Museum Centre of Campo do Gerês
The Museum of Campo do Gerês consists of 3 points namely:
1)The Ethnographic Museum of Vilarinho da Furna which is a place of memory that evokes the social and cultural reality of the village of Vilarinho da Furna, recognized as the space where one of the best examples of Portuguese rural communalism lived;
2)The Porta do Campo do Gerês (Door to the Gerês Field) which functions as a welcoming and information space of the Peneda-Gerês National Park. The site is one of the doors to the Park, providing its varied information rooms, as the geological history of the area and the collections of flora and fauna of the area covered by PNPG (National Park of Peneda do Gerês);
3)The Geira Museum, dedicated to the roman road that linked Braga to Astorga in Spain. The municipality of Terras de Bouro preserves a route with an extension of 30 kilometres of this ancient road.
