The Miradouro de Nossa Senhora do Socorro “Aveleira” (Nossa Senhora da Aveleira Belvedere) is situated on the EN 108 (National Road 108), km 87,712, located 293 meters above sea level. It is built in granite with steps on both sides. It is situated on a higher platform to EN 108, having been recently restored. It shows the inscription: JAE / MIRADOURO / SENHORA DO SOCORRO wrritten in blue and yellow over 27 white tiles. On the right side of the belvedere we can see São Tomé de Covelas, on the left side we can see Santa Marinha do Zêzere and Frende and river Douro as well. In front we can see the municipality of Resende. There is a small fountain addorsed to the identification panel.
