Located in the ancient Casa do Condado since April 14, 2007, the Municipal Museum of Vila Pouca de Aguiar provides its visitors a unique journey through the past of this territory, marked both by contact with the pre-existence of this historic building.
Along the route are transmitted stories and past experiences that identify inhabitants with its territory and the natural resources that the region persists to provide. The objects, consisting of archeological collections, gathered over the past decades, transport us into six environments, six particular moments of Countys occupation.
As a connecting link, the exploitation of natural resources enabled by the region over thousands of years of its occupation: granite, gold and mineral waters.
