Municipal Museum of Caminha

The Museum is located at the core of the medieval historical center in an 18th century building converted in 1989 into a Museum and Library; it was once the local Court and Jailhouse. Currently, the Museum houses an important archaeological artifacts collection documenting the region’s history from Prehistory to Romanization.
