Monastery of S. Pedro de Ferreira
The Church of the Monastery of S. Pedro de Ferreira is one of the most expressive Portuguese Romanesque monuments. In addition to the excellence of its architecture, this Church gathers façades and sculptural motifs from several origns and stonemasons`workshops: Zamora-Compostela, Coimbra- Oporto and Braga-Unhão. Annexed to the main façade exist is the ruin with a funerary function, being an excellent testimony of this type of construction.
