Ancient Benedictine monastery, masculine, which presents itself nowadays as an important Baroque monument, individualising itself especially by the imposing aqueduct, the altars and the chairs of the choir, engraving, richly decorated. The present architecture of its buildings, profoundly altered by the several modifications of the 17th and 18th centuries, doesn’t show any apparent remains of its medieval foundation, prior to 1065. However, we can identify several contemporaneous architectural elements of the first temple, which were reused in the wall of the backyard contiguous to the church. For example, some dowels with checked decoration in bas-relief and fragments of cornices, decorated with several types of molding which confirm the existence of a Romanesque temple.
