The Monte do Pilar has a favoued position from where we can enjoy the surrounding countryside. It houses a modest but pleasant small chapel: the Senhora do Pilar. Monte do Pilar deserves a visit by its panoramic view and by the Portuguese Air Force Radar, which ensures the monitoring of the national airspace. In Monte do Pilar there is an image of theCristo Rei (King Christ).
