Description
The Manueline window behind the fountain is another example of constructive refinement that can be discovered in this village where is believed to have existed a Roman road linking the Lamego to the border.  Some scholars describe that the window will be the only element that remains of the old chapel of São Mateus, that the time kept to the delight of those who stop there to cool off in the water that flows from the two spouts.
