Jesus festivity in Tó has got as characters: the “Farandulo”, the “Moço” and the “Sécia”, however the steward can also participate if he wishes so. The “Farandulo” is a devil character, with his face coloured with coal.
The characters cover the village, making the offertory ritual. In their way, some jokes happen done by the “Farandulo” that is both the devil and the buffon, that tries to paint with the coal cross all the girls that he find in his way, while “Farandulo” invests on “Sécia” , “Moço” is attentive and defends his “Lady”.
There is a fight which culminates with “Moço’s” victory that symbolizes the power of the good towards the evil strengths.
