Magnificent example of seventeenth century architecture, the House of Comenda da Ordem de Malta is situated in the historic centre of Sernancelhe. The Building is of austere nobility and imposing sobriety.  It has a yellow granite façade and matching cornice, ennobled by the scaling of the symbols of their religious and military mission in the defense of religion, homeland and of the pilgrims and humble people.
