Germil Trai

This path begins near the Chapel of Germil. Germil is a small village located in the foothills of Serra Amarela. Follow the stone pavement path and, as soon as we leave the village behind, we go into a fantastic mountain scenery (Serra Amarela e Serra da Peneda) which surrounds Germil. After walking a few kilometers by the rural paths that form the basis that bind Germil with the other small villages, we find ourselves in an asphalt road that allows us to reach a stone pavement path that winds through the valley of Germil. During this path we can enjoy the magnificent vegetation, surrounded by beautiful specimens of oak trees in a magic landscape. After winning the summit we reach the first houses of the place Germil de Baixo, which deserves a visit to keep an eye on the community silos and other peculiarities of the village, before getting to the place where we began this trail.
