It is part of the Gralheira Massif along with the Arada and Arestal mountains, being crossed by the Caima River and coloured by picturesque villages. From the top of this natural sanctuary, preserving rare specimens of fauna and flora and hosting 17 geosites, it is possible to see the Atlantic Ocean.
