The current Cultural Centre of Forjães is at the old School Rodrigues de Faria facilities. In the year 1934 when Rodrigues de Faria, an emigrant in Brazil returned with an immense fortune, opened the primary school of his native land.Rodrigues de Faria decided to do what was best at the time in school. But the rich emigrant was not only concerned with the appearance and quality; he ordered Master Jorge Colaco the tile panels for the interior decoration.At the place, where Forjães Parish Church is implanted, a high-medieval church once existed, as it was possible to date a burial site found to the X or XI century. But the current building is from the eighteenth century. Outside there is a staircase, built in the 70th, where the nine Sisters of Santa Marinha are represented.In Enfia, called the Bouça dos Marcos, there is a set of four landmarks representing respectively, the House of Bragança, the Commendation of the Order of Christ, a milestone that marks the borders between this town and San Romão de Neiva and Menhir.The construction in L of the Solar of Pregais documents his ancestry from eighteenth century, evident not only in front of the chapel attached to the north, the invocation of Nossa Senhora da Abadia, but also in its beautiful painted altar made of stone and a small bell tower.The origin of the Quinta de Curvos remains in the deep waters of the unknown, but is likely to be from XV or XVI centuries, when the constitution of many of the links and noble houses were made.Having passed through the hands of several rich people, it is important to mention of them, Mr. António Rodrigues de Faria who acquired it at the beginning of last century.The Quinta de Curvos is great example of wonderful landscape and architectural framework, great exotic trees, and recreational spaces in small areas composed by lakes and caves, as well as all kinds of flowers.
