The "Feira da Terra" is an important event of Basto. Its main objective is the promotion and dissemination of agricultural, handicraft, inheritance and natural products of the county, with a strong expression also in food and wine. Privileged place for socializing, receives annually thousands of people who take the opportunity to experience the flavours of earth to the sound of traditional music. The Fair has, as a rule, the duration of four days, having the night time the highest number of visitors.
