The contemporary art museum is much more than just a museum, It´s the main foundation responsible for the dissemination of the art in the city and the region. Located inside one of an amazing park that has a size of 18 hectares and is constituted by a wide variety of magnificent, harmoniously interconnected spaces: formal gardens, woodlands, and a traditional farm. It constitutes a singular reference within Portugal’s landscape heritage. visitors to the park will encounter sculptures from the collection that are permanently on display.
Located outside the historical centre, the ideal way to arrive to the museum is by bike, that will allow you to discover a magnificent landscape, and to pass by some of the most interesting parks and gardens of the city of Porto.
