With a baroque language, this cross proves the experience of religiosity of 17th century, constituting one of the most important examples of Portugal.
In a level of 5 steps, the base is formed by four figurations of Atlanteans in the angles,which presents cartouches with old inscriptions. The spiral shaft, with floral decoration, is projected from this basis, but stops halfway up with the image of Nossa Senhora da Conceição, which appears in his traditional iconography with the moon and the snake. It is surrounded by many angels and upon the capital stands the figuration of Christ Crucified.
