Mondim explodes, cyclically, in its County Festivals, universal heirs of ancient and nostalgic Pilgrimages of Santiago. Curiously, St. Christopher, patron saint of this county, is liturgically worshiped on the same day that is celebrated the popular apostle at the top of Nossa Senhora da Graça.
Religious program includes a Mass sung in honor of the patron and the impressive procession that runs through the town's streets. Of the profane program, very traditional in nature, stands out the big night of Pilgrims of Santiago.
The old customs are merged with modern musical expressions to receive worthily, the thousands of visitors who come to us by this date.
The municipal holiday is on 25th July.
