From the Architect Agostinho Ribeiro da Fonseca, Teacher and Director of the “Escola de Artes e Ofícios Soares Basto”, in Palmaz, between the 1st and the 2nd quarter of the XX century, this complex, dated from the same period, which also included, up to the beginning of 90’s , the “Casa dos Magistrados” (Magistrate’s House). It is distinguished by the soft lines of the Portuguese style, that was recommended by the “Architect of the New State", Raul Lino, in Oliveira de Azeméis.
