Centro de Interpretação Ambiental
The Centro de Interpretação Ambiental (Environmental Interpretation Centre), aims to be the entry portal of the Protected Local Landscape - Serra de Santa Justa e Pias / Paleozoic Park of Valongo. It is located on the Serra de Santa Justa slopes, and can be visited by appointment. It comprises a documentation core, a multipurpose space with exhibitions, a photo gallery, an interpretive model of the mountains geology and fossil specimens, in particular the trilobites that reveal the presence of an inland sea in the Paleozoic Era.
