Description
Ancient medieval village, received a charter from King Afonso Henriques in 1162 had a castle, classified as a Public Interest, the remaining traces of several sections of wall, built in schist. The "castle" is a nearly oval plant, which protected the primitive population.

The south entrance is called "Barbican". There is a street that runs through the fortified space.
