Castle of Monforte de Rio Livre
Situated on the slope of Serra do Brunheiro abpve the Ribeira de Aguas Livres, was erected with the traces of a prehistoric settlement witness through previous occupation. This Castle, concluded in 1312, shows the granite walls, two doors which give access to the patio of arms and the Tower of Menagem, of quadrangular design.
