Casa dos Arcos was built in the sixteenth century by the family Almeida Peres, corresponding to primitive building housing the main core of rectangular shape. In the following century, was added, in one of the ends of the building, a new residential body, which modified the provision of home.
The solar, Plant L, divided into two floors. The main facade presents itself torn by two arches, corresponding to the different registers of the house, separated by crimping. On the ground floor you will find a series of round arches, which corresponds in the main floor consists of an arcade arches slaughtered discharging into small pilasters.
At each end of the frontispiece two windows, one on each floor opened. Pillar right next to the house was placed on the stone gun owners.
