The manor house Casa de Freixieiro is located at the headquarters of Celorico de Basto, in the parish of Arnoia. The original building was built in 1545, having undergone numerous alterations over the years. The current building has architectural traces of the eighteenth century.
Its notable features are the noble portal, which features an undated coat of arms, said to have been brought from Veade House, and the chapel in honor of St. Lawrence.
The Casa do Paço de Freixieiro was owned by Lourenço Moura Coutinho, who had the position as the Captain General in Celorico de Basto.
