The House of Casal, located in the parish of Arnoia, suffered great alterations in the 18th century. However, according to several investigations, a housing space existed, possibly from the 14th century.
The owner was a subordinate of King D. Pedro, named as Afonso Rodrigues do Casal, married to D. Teresa Gonçalves da Fonseca.
In the House of Casal, we found inscribed the date of 1787, at the gateway entrance, date corresponding to the reconstruction works.
