Built in the 18th century, this house belonged to the Antas family, ‘honourable lords of Fraião’ which expanded to other families, one of which was the Montenegro family who owned a manor house attached to the Casa dos Antas building, with two separate entrances and the coat-of-arms of both families.
This manor house derives from a “house-tower” type of building, with a pyramid hip roof and sculptural ornaments. In the last quarter of the 20th century the house was restored and revamped.
Location: Paredes de Coura
