On the border of the Minho and Trás-os-Montes regions, Campos is a tipical village of the Cabreira Mountain with 1313 hectares and around 100 inhabitants. This village has a outstanding heritage legacy and a magnificent natural landscape which provide visitors with local culture and beautiful views. The “Forno do Povo”, an old and traditional oven in granite, watermills, granaries testify a past based in communitarian organization and farming. This village was prosperous during the wolfram exploration. Until today, there are, near of the river, traces of this gold era.
