The Monte Murado that includes the Senhora da Saúde Park and that of S.Bartolomeu, was considered Building of Public Interest in June of 1992. The Senhora da Saúde Park constitutes a place of leisure, open to public, it has a vast grove, and in its high, a church.
This place is the stage of feasts in honor of Senhora da Saúde that every year takes place August 15th, this pilgrimage usually attracts thousands of visitors every year. In addition to animation there is the traditional grilled sardine, the grilled cod, the “Caldo Verde” with the typical “Broa” and the fireworks. This pilgrimage is considered one of the biggest religious feasts of Gaia and the North of Portugal.
