In the archaeological station of Ancorense Peak, located on the north coast of Vila Praia de Âncora until the border coast ,till The Chapel of Santo Isidoro, we can find datable Paleolithic tools from 19000-10000 BC. Its use continued until the   Castro civilization. On site, in addition to the diverse type peaks, you can still find cores, chips, network weights and other tools necessary for the daily life of populations: defense, hunting, fishing, treatment of wood and skins, playing the role of the current axes , chisels, gouges, etc ..
