In the south wall of the parish church dedicated to St. Paio, there is a medieval stone epigraph (IN ERA MCLXXXIII. X CALENDAS MAGII ABAS SAURIUS FUNDAVIT OPERA ISTA MER) related to the foundation of this church and that, according to popular tradition, this place would have been chosen to erect a monastery.
The facade, facing the west, exudes the architectural taste of the time. The source of inspiration is the neo-Baroque end of the century, visible in the granite awarded foliage, drapery, rings and angels.
The cruise of parochial is at the bottom of the churchyard facing the Parish.
Built on a base with three steps there is a rectangular plinth, decorated with various symbols of the Passion and angels with a cup and a flower, represented in high relief. The shaft, is decorated embossed with vines. The half body dominates an image of Our Lady being crowned by two angels. Underneath the Lady, the year of its construction: 1898. round off the shaft, a capital of Doric type surmounted by a base, profusely decorated, which is based on Christ crucified. Among the various decorative motifs, one can admire some of the most important passages of Christ's life.
