A Noite no Porto (Oporto Nightlife)

Porto
Description

The night in Oporto invites you for the good times in good company in good places. In several areas of Oporto, the restaurants, the cafés and bars give to the city night a special colouful. From the tavern to  the exquisite restaurant of traditional flavors or the author cuisine,  Oporto offers a great variety of flavors and atmospheres that make the  wishes come true, covering the most traditional and audacious  proposals, with or without music, in small or large spaces, with light  or elaborated meals for young people of all ages. Oporto is more and more a scenery of an animated nightlife by the bars, cafés, discos and concert clubs which have emerged all over the city side by side  with the places opened for many years that are already recognized for  its quality of services. From spaces where you can have a nice conversation to a dancing floor, there are porposals for all tastes and all pockets which include a relaxed stroll along the streets full of people and excitement. These places have different opening and closure hours and porposes alternatives for a full excitement night.  There are cosy and intimate places with elegant decoration, with friendly and efficient services, with varied music and with modern spaces with innovative concepts that combine coffee, pastries, bar and restaurant. There are spaces where different kinds of art and culture reveal the creativity and irreverence of the young artists of the city.  There are spaces with outdoor areas, with art galleries, with shops, with stages for performances, and cool spaces with alternative music and retro atmospheres that take us both to the past and to the most contemporary musical trends. In Oporto all people can find a space of their own, including LGBT projects where, despite the assumed orientation, there is no reason for feeling discriminated. In downtown, mainly in the areas of Miguel Bombarda street, Clérigos street, Almada street and from Batalha square to Aliados Av., there are old warehouses, residences and historic buildings that have been restored and transformed in original places where comfort and creativity prevailed with live music and national and international DJs performances. The historic center has now a new brand animated space that promises to shake the cultural Oporto life – The Hard Club.  The Ferreira Borges Market is a valuable and remarkable building that is now restored to create a unique space which is intended to serve the city with a varied schedule of the highest quality music. From Casa da Música to the Atlantic Ocean, in the Boavista and Campo Alegre area, the proposals cover several different cultural projects, restaurants and bars located in referenced hotels, and others that have been consolidating its name and prestige and that are scattered by this cosmopolitan area. In addition to this offer, the marginal  line of the city is full of pavement cafés and other animated places  where you can enjoy a nice meal, a relaxing drink or the animated  night with a view over the river Douro and the Atlantic Ocean, being  these promenades a distinct option. The Foz and Ribeira are the areas where the most diverse and trendy shops are concentrated, from cooking to musical, as well as many interesting points along the river and sea front. The largest dancing floors with music to every taste, that challenges everyone to dance all night long, are situated in the industrial area of Oporto. It seems the Oporto nightlife does not come to an end! Try it!
