Igreja Da Lapa (Lapa Church), which dates from 1772 - a simple and modest church, just like the fishing community which had it built and which here worship their patron saint, Nossa Senhora da Assunção (Out Lady of the Assumption). On the side that faces the sea, we find a small beacon, which is no longer in use, and which strengthened the practical and sentimental ties between this church and the fishermen at work. As well as an image of Nª. Srª. da Lapa, we find a panel evoking the disaster of the 27th of February 1892, which had a strong impact on the community and its customs.
