Vila Praia de Âncora hosts the 5th Edition of "Vila Praia em Flor". The joy of May in bloom is revived through the Mayan tradition and in the many activities that the flowers can be recreated.
In these days Vila Praia de Âncora will be transformed into an authentic flower garden. Visitors will be amazed by the variety of themed exhibits, garden decorations, flowery parades presented by the school community and local institutions, flower markets, and are also invited to interact and participate in workshops, thematic workshops and in the flowered walking.
For this edition we have some exhibitions such as "Flower dresses", "The Scarecrow of my school went out" and the gastronomic exhibition "The flowers that feed us". In these days the joy and the animation will be constant, stands out the "Flowered Parade", by the Schools and Institutions of the County that will fill the afternoon of friday.
At night Praça da Republica will host the great Night of Folklore, where the colorful costumes and the joy of music and the flower garden of the Square invite you to visit Vila Praia de Âncora and participate in this animation.
On Saturday night the musical group SONS DO MINHO will bring the musical joy that this event deserves.
