This exhibition is a tribute to Maria Knott or Miss Knott as she liked to be known. Maria Helena Knott was born in 1922 and died in 2006. She studied in England for 4 years. In 1948 she began to work as an assistant to Calouste Gulbenkian. In addition to its beautiful hats, the exhibition features a collection of dresses and other fashion accessories that Miss Knott used in various social moments, revealing the glamor and elegance of the fifties in Portugal.
