This exhibition organized by the Association for the Creation of the Eduardo Teixeira Pinto Museum will be open to the public at the Temporary Exhibition Rooms of the Cultural and Museum Space - CASA DA GRANJA until June 30.
With an annual program of exhibitions and other activities of a cultural scope, CASA DA GRANJA, where a museum room is open to the public, dedicated to the great Amaranthian photographer Eduardo Teixeira Pinto, now receives this photography exhibition by António Tedim, whose interest in photography has arisen late, but quickly became a passion, devoting a good deal of his time to photography. Despite having studied with accredited photographers like António Sá, Manuel Fonte and Vítor Ferreira, it is considered a self-taught. Likes documentary photography and street photography, or as it says "photography with people inside".
António Tedim He exhibits individually and collectively, has participated in hundreds of collective exhibitions in Portugal and in more than 15 countries, including two exhibitions in which he participated with Portuguese photographers and who toured several cities of Iraq "Love letter from Portugal to Iraq" in order to raise funds for the LARSA NGO that looks after Iraqi war orphans.
He regularly participates in photography contests, having won numerous prizes, more than 200, most of them in Portugal (he has already won practically all the major competitions in Portugal), but also in Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, China and Argentina.
In 2017 he is the world champion in photography, since he was one of the artists that integrated the team of national photographers who gave Portugal the 1st Prize in the World Photographic Cup, the photography world championship, held in Japan.
