Of medieval roots, the Cantarinhas Fair takes place in the first days of May and has as main characteristic the commercialization of clay cantarinhas.
The earthen jar, which once served in the field to accompany the workers with fresh water, is now also used for the adornment of the houses on the river. The older ones say that they bring luck to those who receive them.
Also in this fair appear the first cherries, sold in small branches and the renewal (vegetables of various qualities ready to be planted).
